Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a compassionate Home Care Worker to support clients in their own homes across the Northern Beaches on a permanent part-time basis. You will help with daily tasks, provide personal care, and offer companionship to enhance independence and dignity.

You will work in a values-driven not-for-profit environment with opportunities for training, flexible hours, and a supportive team that values wellbeing and community impact.

Qualifications

• Valid NSW Driver's Licence.
• Reliable NSW C Class Motor Vehicle for travel between customer locations.
• Current accredited First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations (highly recommended).
• Basic computer and smartphone literacy.

Responsibilities

• Domestic Assistance - Supporting with household chores such as washing, ironing, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Meal Preparation - Assisting with planning, preparing, and cooking meals.
• Personal Care Support - Helping with showering, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene needs.
• Social Engagement - Providing companionship and encouraging participation in social activities and community engagement.
• Transport Services - Offering transport for appointments, shopping trips, and social outings.

As a valued Home Care Worker at Anglicare we have opportunities to work across the Northern Beaches region on a Permanent Part time basis.

You will provide compassionate, high-quality support to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and live with dignity.

You will assist with daily tasks, offer emotional support, and provide meaningful companionship. Your care will ensure clients feel safe, respected, and valued in the comfort of their own environment.

What's Required:
