NovaCare Community Services in Newcastle is seeking enthusiastic Care Support Workers to help older adults live independently at home with dignity, choice, and a little fun.

L3 qualification is required; opportunities available for Permanent Part Time or Casual roles. You will assist with domestic tasks, transport, meals, and social outings, including medications and personal care where qualified.

Formación

• L3 qualified (Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care) is required.
• Valid driver’s licence and comprehensive car insurance.
• Right to work in Australia.
• Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards.
• First Aid & CPR, or willingness to obtain.

Responsabilidades

• Assist older adults with domestic tasks, transport, shopping, meals and social outings.
• Provide medications and personal care for L3 qualified staff.
• Create a warm, inclusive environment where everyone feels valued.
• Be reliable, enthusiastic and bring fresh ideas to the team.
• Communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
• Stay organised, calm and flexible on busy days.

What’s on Offer

• Casual opportunities: Level 3 – $45.29/hr + super

• Permanent Part-time: Level 3 - $36.23/hr + super

• Vehicle allowance: $1.05/km

What You’ll Need:

• Certificate III or higher in Aged Care or Individual Support (Ageing) – required for L3 applicants

• Valid driver’s licence and comprehensive car insurance

• Right to work in Australia

• Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards

• Strong teamwork skills and adaptability

• Good organisational and documentation skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

• Flu vaccination (or willingness to obtain)

• First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
