Job summary

HammondCare is seeking an experienced Care Operations Manager to lead high-performing teams and ensure exceptional care across a large regional portfolio. This senior role focuses on developing leadership capability, improving performance and fostering a culture of accountability on a geographically dispersed workforce.

You’ll work with Care Team Leads to maintain safe, consistent, high-quality care while driving workforce engagement and service excellence. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in frontline service delivery
• Experience leading large-scale, geographically dispersed teams
• Proven coaching/mentoring to develop future leaders
• Ability to inspire and create a culture of accountability and high performance
• Strong commercial and operational acumen with productivity and service quality focus
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Experience in regulated environments with governance, risk and compliance knowledge
• Exposure to workforce management and service delivery systems
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in health, business or operations

About The Role

We're looking for an experienced and passionate Care Operations Manager to lead high-performing teams, build leadership capability and ensure the delivery of exceptional care services across a large regional portfolio.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for a people-focused operational leader who thrives on developing others, driving performance and creating a culture where teams can do their best work every day.

Working closely with Care Team Leads, you will lead a geographically dispersed workforce, ensuring clients receive safe, consistent and high-quality care while fostering workforce engagement, accountability and service excellence.

About You

You're a proven operational leader with a passion for developing people and leading large-scale teams.

You'll Bring

• Extensive experience leading leaders within a frontline service delivery, healthcare, aged care, community services or similarly complex operational environment.
• Demonstrated success managing large, geographically dispersed teams through others.
• Strong coaching and mentoring capability, with a track record of developing future leaders.
• The ability to inspire, influence and create a culture of accountability, engagement and high performance.
• Strong commercial and operational acumen, including experience improving productivity, workforce outcomes and service quality.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Experience operating within regulated environments with a strong understanding of governance, risk and compliance requirements.
• Exposure to workforce management and service delivery systems.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in health, business, operations or a related discipline.
