Job summary

HammondCare is seeking a Care Operations Manager to lead a large regional portfolio, shape leadership capability and ensure delivery of exceptional care services. This senior role focuses on developing people, driving performance and creating a culture of accountability across dispersed teams.

You will work with Care Team Leads to manage a geographically distributed workforce, ensuring safe, high-quality care while upholding governance and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading leaders within frontline service delivery, healthcare, aged care, community services or similarly complex operational environment.
• Demonstrated success managing large, geographically dispersed teams through others.
• Strong coaching and mentoring capability with a track record of developing future leaders.
• Ability to inspire, influence and create a culture of accountability, engagement and high performance.

About the role

We're looking for an experienced and passionate Care Operations Manager to lead high-performing teams, build leadership capability and ensure the delivery of exceptional care services across a large regional portfolio.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for a people-focused operational leader who thrives on developing others, driving performance and creating a culture where teams can do their best work every day.

Working closely with Care Team Leads, you will lead a geographically dispersed workforce, ensuring clients receive safe, consistent and high-quality care while fostering workforce engagement, accountability and service excellence.

About You

You're a proven operational leader with a passion for developing people and leading large-scale teams.

You'll bring:

• Extensive experience leading leaders within a frontline service delivery, healthcare, aged care, community services or similarly complex operational environment.
• Demonstrated success managing large, geographically dispersed teams through others.
• Strong coaching and mentoring capability, with a track record of developing future leaders.
• The ability to inspire, influence and create a culture of accountability, engagement and high performance.
• Strong commercial and operational acumen, including experience improving productivity, workforce outcomes and service quality.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Experience operating within regulated environments with a strong understanding of governance, risk and compliance requirements.
• Exposure to workforce management and service delivery systems.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in health, business, operations or a related discipline.
