Job summary

Catholic Healthcare Limited is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to lead clinical care at Emmaus Village, Kemps Creek. You will supervise clinical and support teams, ensure safety, and uphold aged care standards within the facility.

Reporting as 2nd in charge to the Residential Manager, you will drive quality outcomes and mentor staff in a compassionate, not-for-profit environment that values dignity and inclusivity.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Thorough understanding of Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Familiarity with AN-ACC assessment processes.
• Solid clinical knowledge of aging and health issues.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality clinical care to residents at all times per Aged Care quality Standards and CHL policy.
• Provide leadership and coaching to clinical and support teams to deliver quality outcomes.
• Work safely, following all policies and IPC procedures and ensuring quality compliance.
• Act as 2nd in charge to the Residential Manager.

• Permanent Part-time - 2 days a week including one weekend day
• Pay rate – 65.20 - $69.30per hour + superannuation

Reporting to the Residential Manager, you will be providing clinical leadership and support to the clinical and personal care teams.

About the Role:

• Ensuring high-quality clinical care is provided to residents at all times, as per the Aged Care quality Standards and CHL policy and procedures
• Providing leadership and coaching to the clinical and support teams to ensure the delivery of quality resident outcomes
• Working in a safe manner, closely following all policies and procedures, including IPC, ensuring compliance with quality standards
• Working as 2nd in charge to the Residential Manager

To be successful in this role you’ll need

• A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
• Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
• Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
• Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
• Comprehensive Clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age – related health issues
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety
