Job summary

Uniting AgeWell invites applications for a Care Manager at Strath-Haven, Bendigo. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of aged care professionals, ensuring high-quality resident care and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (essential).
• Previous clinical management experience in aged care (essential).
• Proven leadership capabilities demonstrated by prior managerial roles.
• Up-to-date knowledge of Contemporary Aged Care Services and the Residential Aged Care Standards.
• Thrive in a team and one-to-one interactions within a care setting.

• Provide mentoring and supervision to nursing and care staff to promote teamwork.
• Permanent Full time, Monday to Friday 7am - 3pm.

About the role:

An exciting opportunity exists for a Care Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary team of passionate and committed Aged Care professionals at our Strath-Haven, Bendigofacility.

You will be responsible for:

• Providing clinical leadership and support to nursing and care staff in accordance with UA policies and procedures and the Residential Aged Care Standards


• Manage all aspects of clinical care, including assessments, care planning and ongoing evaluation of client care to ensure individual needs of clients are met and the quality of life for the resident is optimised


• Liaising with residents, families and other health professionals


• Monitoring clinical risks and contributing to continuous improvement strategies


• Promote staff awareness of all professional and legal requirements affecting their roles and monitor compliance


• Provide mentoring and supervision to nursing and care staff to promote a harmonious team approach to ensure the delivery of high quality resident care


• Permanent Full time, Monday to Friday 7am - 3pm
