Job summary

Bolton Clarke Residential Aged Care Opportunities in Greater Western Sydney seeks a Senior Registered Nurse/Clinical Nurse Leader to guide the nursing team and ensure high-quality resident care. You will lead development and evaluation of care plans, participate in audits, and uphold Bolton Clarke policies.

You will require current AHPRA registration with strong leadership, communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement in an aged care setting.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA.
• Experience in Aged Care as Senior RN or Clinical Nurse Leader (desirable).
• Infection Prevention & Control qualification (desirable).
• Knowledge of aged care standards, accreditation and auditing (AN-ACC).
• Commitment to high-quality care and staff development.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality personalised resident care and supervise staff.
• Develop, monitor and implement nurse care plans; assess and evaluate plans.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and investigate issues/incidents.
• Ensure compliance with aged care standards and Bolton Clarke policies.
• Supervise, train and mentor RNs and PCWs.

The Role

• Commitment to ensuring the delivery of high quality and personalised care to all resident
• Knowledge of the aged care sector, standards
• Sound understanding of processes needed to respond to clinical and quality audits using the principles of continuous improvement.
• Developing, monitoring and implementing nurse care plans + assessing, planning and evaluating existing care plans
• Performing comprehensive assessments and investigating issues and incidents
• Participating in and ensuring all compliance is adhered to in accordance with aged care standards and Bolton Clarke policies and procedures.
• Actively supervising, training, and mentoring all RNs and PCWs

About You

• Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
• Experience within Aged Care Sector as Senior Registered Nurse or Clinical Nurse Leader (desirable)
• Infection Prevention and Control Qualification (desirable)
• Demonstrated working knowledge of current aged care standards, accreditation and auditing processes, and AN-ACC
• Personal and professional commitment to delivering high quality care, the development of yourself and your staff, and the overall continuous improvement of the home
• Solid leadership skills along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
• Complete a police check and or a NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain) prior to commencement
