Newcastle Anglican is seeking Care Assistants to join our team at Mirrabooka Place - Gloucester NSW. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing excellent care to seniors in our residential aged care homes.

We offer permanent shifts including weekend mornings, afternoons, and night rotations, with opportunities to grow within a faith-based organization. Right to work in Australia is required; email [e-mail] for details.

Formación

• Certificate III in Individual Support or related nursing study.
• Current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to document resident care accurately and promptly.
• Effective in both independent and team settings.

The Opportunity

Newcastle Anglican are seeking Care Assistants to join their team at Mirrabooka Place - Gloucester NSW.. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing excellent care to seniors in our residential aged care homes.

Currently There Are a Range Of Permanent Shifts Available

• Weekend morning (0630-1500) + afternoon shifts (1445-2045)
• Weekday short shifts (1600-2000)
• Weekday + weekend night shifts (2045-0645)

About you?

• Certificate III Individual Support / Cert III Heath Service Assistance or BA Nursing Students 2nd + 3rd Yr
• Current First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement) or willing to obtain
• An ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to accurately document residents care/progress

• Actively promote Anglican Care’s positive culture through interactions with residents, staff and their families
• Consistent delivery of person centered care to residents in our facilities
• Observe confidentiality matters at all times associated with documentation and communications
• Abide by Aged Care Standards
• Work as an effective team member
