Ozcare is seeking part-time Care Assistants to support clients in the Atherton region. You will work closely with clients to deliver personalised care plans and help them maintain independence in their own homes.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, personal care, and medication support, while collaborating with a holistic care team. A warm, caring attitude and flexibility to rosters are essential; training and support are provided.

Qualificações

• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
• Current Police Screening Certificate.
• Current Queensland driver's licence.
• First Aid & CPR Certificates.
• Immunisation against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella and Pertussis or willing to vaccinate.
• Reliable vehicle with registration and comprehensive insurance.
• Good computer and mobile device skills.

Ozcare currently have part-time positions available for Care Assistants supporting our clients across the Atherton region.

Your Role

As a care assistant you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients.Your tasks will include:

• Providing the very best care and support to clients in line with their personalised care plans
• Assisting clients to develop skills to encourage their independence
• Attending to clients' personal care needs, including showering, dressing and other daily activities
• Assisting clients with their medication requirements
• Working as part of the care team, using a holistic approach, to look at every aspect of our clients' care

Role Requirements

• Current Police Screening Certificate
• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Home & Community Care
• A reliable roadworthy vehicle, with current registration and comprehensive insurance
• Current Queensland driver's licence
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
• Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough)
• Good computer & mobile device skills
