Ready for a nursing role that's a little different?

At Nurse Next Door, our purpose is simple: Making Lives Better®. We are looking for a passionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Care Ambassador—a dynamic hybrid of clinical care, mentoring, and coordination.
As a key member of our leadership team, no two days will look the same. You will support clients requiring in-home healthcare due to aging or disability, while also uplifting our caregiver staff.
Schedule: Operating between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Days and times are negotiable to suit your lifestyle.
The Balance: Hands-on clinical client visits will make up approximately 25% of your working hours. The rest of your time will focus on care coordination, caregiver development, and community networking.
Tools of the Trade: Your package includes a company-provided laptop and access to an iconic Nurse Next Door pink car for work use!
Certified Excellence: We are proud to be a certified Great Place to Work!
True Flexibility: We offer adaptable schedules designed to fit your life.
Empowered Autonomy: Enjoy independence in your daily role while backed by a deeply supportive network and our 24/7 Care Services Centre.
Above everything else, we are looking for a self-led professional who cares deeply about people and takes pride in doing things well. You embody our core values: Admire People, WOW Customer Experience, Find a Better Way, and Passionate about Making a Difference.
Clinical Excellence: You bring at least 3 years of RN experience. Strong hands-on clinical skills in areas such as wound care, catheterisation, medication management, and diabetes management are highly regarded.
Client-Centred: You are an excellent communicator who can build trust with clients, families, and team members.
Leadership: You are comfortable providing feedback, coaching, and support to our amazing Caregivers and nurses.
Proximity: You have a genuine connection to the community and a residential address within 30 minutes of the Hawkesbury area.
Reporting to the Clinical Manager, you will operate in a busy, dynamic environment. Your core focus will include:
Providing exceptional nursing care (25% of your time) within your scope of practice.
Completing client assessments, initial visits, and care plan reviews to develop highly tailored, person-centred care plans.
Training, developing, and building strong relationships with caregivers directly in client homes.
Monitoring client wellbeing, reviewing progress notes, and proactively identifying changes or risks.
Thinking creatively to continuously find ways to make clients' lives better.
Utilising strong computer skills (proficiency in G-Suite is highly regarded) to maintain meticulous care documentation.
Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
Current CPR & First Aid Certification.
Current NSW Driver's License (unrestricted).
Valid Working with Children Check.
NDIS Worker Screening Check (must be obtained before your start date).
Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
