St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside is seeking a dynamic Clinical Nurse (Education) to lead educational initiatives within Cardiology, Cardiothoracic and Vascular services. The role is a Level 2 Clinical Nurse, permanent part-time (56 hours per fortnight), reporting to the Education Manager.

You will oversee all aspects of clinical education and staff development, with supervision of clinical skills assessments, education events, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver

Qualifications

• Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Cardiology & Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgical.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a clinically based education role (desirable).
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (current, and/or working towards).
• Postgraduate qualification in clinical specialty (desirable).
• Postgraduate qualification in clinical teaching, and/or education in a healthcare setting, or equivalent (desirable).
• Current Advanced Life Support Certification (desirable).

Responsabilités

• Promote clinical excellence and staff development within the Cardiology, Cardiothoracic and Vascular environment.
• Assess clinical skills and progress of staff.
• Assist with clinical education events and support other education activities.
• Collaborate with the clinical education team across inpatient and outpatient areas.
