Job summary

Advara HeartCare in Australia is seeking a Specialist Cardiac Physiologist to provide high-quality patient care for a broad range of cardiovascular conditions using industry-leading ultrasound and testing equipment.

You will collaborate with Cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams, maintain safety and standards, and travel across multiple Queensland locations. Must be ASAR registered with strong echocardiography skills and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Current ASAR registration is required.
• Demonstrated clinical expertise in echocardiography.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach.
• Ability to perform echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms and assist Cardiologists.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and take direction as needed.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Hold a valid Australian Driver's Licence and be willing to work across multiple QLD locations.

Responsibilities

• Operate cardiac ultrasound and testing equipment to assist in accurate diagnoses.
• Explain procedures clearly and follow best practices to document pathology characteristics.
• Engage with clinical managers and referrers to maintain strong working relationships.
• Work with Cardiologists and staff to uphold safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
