Job summary

Advara HeartCare is seeking a Specialist Cardiac Physiologist in Queensland to deliver high-quality echocardiography testing and scanning under supervision. You will manage patients, operate ultrasound equipment, and contribute to accurate diagnoses with Cardiologists.

The role emphasizes post-graduate professional development, adherence to clinical protocols, and exceptional patient care. Applicants should hold ASAR registration and BLS/CPR where possible, with a strong customer service

Qualifications

• Registration with ASAR as an Echocardiography professional.
• Current echocardiography registration and/or license.
• Basic Life Support / CPR certification preferred.
• Demonstrated command of echocardiography techniques.
• Solid knowledge of the physical principles and technology of diagnostic echocardiography.
• Experience delivering patient care and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, accurate non-invasive echocardiography services.
• Operate cardiac ultrasound equipment to obtain optimal images for diagnosis.
• Interpret requests from referrers for procedures performed on patients.
• Identify patients in accordance with protocols and document findings.
• Record and maintain patient records and billing information.
• Ensure compliant lab procedures and safety standards.
