Wide Bay Caravans in Tinana (Maryborough) QLD is seeking an experienced Caravan Repairer to join our workshop team. You’ll work on repairs and modifications across caravans, campers and motorhomes, from minor fixes to recladding and structural work.

This permanent part-time position (38 hours per week) offers a competitive wage based on experience, a well-equipped workshop, steady work in Queensland’s busy caravan region, and a supportive family-run team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in caravan repair, manufacturing, or related trades.
• Recladding experience is highly regarded.
• Confident with hand and power tools and reading job instructions.

Responsibilities

• Strip and reclad caravan walls, roof and panels (aluminium and composite).
• Repair water damage including frame, floor and wall rebuilds.
• Remove and refit windows, doors, hatches and fittings; seal to standards.
• Diagnose faults and provide notes for quoting and job cards.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and high finish standard.

Caravan Repairer - Cabinetmakers, Panel Workers and Carpenters Welcome!

Wide Bay Caravans | Tinana (Maryborough) QLD | 38hr Week | 2pm Friday Finish

Wide Bay Caravans has been looking after the Fraser Coast's caravanning community since 1972. We're a family owned dealership offering used caravan sales, servicing, spare parts, repairs and modifications from our workshop in Tinana. We're a team who take pride in doing the job properly and continuing to build cement our name as a leading caravan repairer.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced (preferred) Caravan Repairer to join our workshop team. You'll work across a variety of repair and insurance jobs on all makes and models of caravans, campers and motorhomes, from minor repairs through to full recladding and structural rebuilds.

Day to day, you'll be:

Stripping and recladding caravan walls, roof and front/rear panels (aluminium and composite)

Repairing water damage, including frame, floor and wall rebuilds

Removing and refitting windows, doors, hatches, mouldings, awnings and external fittings

Sealing and resealing to manufacturer standards

Carrying out general caravan repairs and insurance repair work

Diagnosing faults and providing clear notes for quoting and job cards

Working to a high standard of finish and keeping a clean, safe work area

About You

Proven experience in caravan repair, manufacturing or a related trade (cabinetmaking, panel work, carpentry or similar)

Recladding experience is highly regarded

Confident with hand and power tools and reading job instructions

Good attention to detail - the finish matters to us and to our customers

Reliable, self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team

Current driver's license or appropriate transportation

Experience with 12v, solar, plumbing or gas is a bonus but not essential
