Job summary

Caravan Repair Centre in Caloundra is seeking an experienced Caravan Repairer to join our established team.

We provide a four-day working week and a full-time role with a strong emphasis on insurance repairs, appliance upgrades, servicing and maintenance for caravans on the Sunshine Coast.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on caravan repair experience.
• Experienc​e with caravan insurance and accident repairs.
• Strong knowledge of caravan construction and repair methods.
• Experience with 12V electrical and plumbing work.
• Strong fault finding and problem solving skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

With more than 35 years operating from the same Sunshine Coast premises, Caravan Repair Centre is a long standing family business specialising in caravan insurance repairs, appliance upgrades, servicing and maintenance.

We are looking for an experienced tradesperson who takes pride in their workmanship, has strong caravan repair knowledge and is comfortable working across a variety of repair types.

The Role

Working within our well equipped Caloundra workshop, your responsibilities will include:

• Insurance and accident damage repairs
• Cladding and external component replacement
• 12V electrical repairs and installations
• Plumbing repairs and installations
• Appliance and accessory installation
• Diagnosing faults and determining appropriate repair methods
• Completing repairs efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
• Working alongside our Service and Workshop teams to keep jobs progressing through the workshop

About You

We are looking for someone with solid hands on caravan repair experience who can confidently undertake repairs with minimal supervision.

Ideally, you will have:

• Extensive experience within the caravan repair or manufacturing industry
• Experience with caravan insurance and accident repairs
• Strong knowledge of caravan construction and repair methods
• Experience with strip and re sheet repairs and structural work
• Good 12V electrical and plumbing knowledge
• Strong fault finding and problem solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• A genuine commitment to quality workmanship
• The ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment

Experience within the caravan industry is important for this position. Applicants from closely related trades with substantial caravan repair experience are also encouraged to apply.
