Job summary

2000 Sydney Redpath Partners is seeking an experienced Capital Works Manager to lead infrastructure and capital projects across a major venue portfolio in Sydney. You will oversee planning, governance, contracts and external resources to ensure safe, on-time delivery and high standards of quality.

The role requires strong client-side delivery experience, broad capital works knowledge, and a proven track record of managing budgets, programmes and stakeholder relationships across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in project management, construction or capital works.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects through the full lifecycle.
• Experience working client-side or in a project management consultancy environment.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, procurement and contractor management.
• Experience managing project budgets, programmes and risks; excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple capital works projects across the portfolio.
• Drive scope from planning through design, procurement, construction and handover.
• Develop and manage programmes, budgets, milestones and delivery strategies.
• Identify risks, issues and opportunities; maintain governance and reporting.
• Coordinate design development, consultant engagement and contractor procurement.
• Oversee construction progress, quality, budget performance and handover to operations.
