Job summary

Automic Group in Sydney is seeking an Associate, Capital Markets to support end-to-end delivery of corporate actions for clients, coordinating with advisers and internal teams.

Ideal candidates have 1-3 years in capital markets, corporate actions, share registry or financial markets operations, with strong Excel skills and a client-focused approach. You will work across multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment and gain broader exposure to listed-market activities.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' experience in capital markets, corporate actions, share registry or financial markets operations.
• Strong Excel skills with reconciliations, data validation and transaction reporting.
• Experience in deadline-driven environments and client service.
• Good communication via email, phone and meetings.
• Attention to detail and understanding of operational risk and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end delivery of corporate actions including entitlements, IPOs and takeovers.
• Perform operational activities: allotments, securities issuance, reconciliations, settlements and reporting.
• Assist with client communication and coordination to meet milestones and regulatory deadlines.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and escalate issues as needed.
• Manage multiple transactions with accuracy and prioritisation.
