Job summary

Automic Group in Sydney is seeking an Associate, Capital Markets to support end-to-end corporate actions for clients. The role suits someone with 1–3 years' experience in capital markets, share registry or related operations, and a strong Excel, data validation and reporting skillset.

You will work with clients, advisers and internal teams, ensuring accurate, timely execution while developing your transaction management capabilities within a collaborative fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Approximately 1-3 years' experience in capital markets, corporate actions, share registry or related operations.
• Strong Excel skills including reconciliations, data validation and transaction reporting.
• Experience supporting transactions or operational processes in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong client service and relationship-management skills with confidence in email, phone and meetings.
• Attention to detail and understanding of operational risk, controls and compliance.
• Collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused with ability to manage competing priorities.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in finance, business or related discipline is preferred.
• Strong interest in financial markets and capital markets expertise development.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end delivery of corporate actions including entitlement offers, share purchase plans, IPOs and off-market takeovers.
• Complete operational activities including allotments, securities issuance, reconciliations, settlements, transaction documentation and reporting.
• Assist with client communication and internal coordination to meet milestones, deadlines and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor transaction progress, identify potential execution risks and escalate issues appropriately.
• Manage competing priorities across multiple live transactions while maintaining accuracy.
• Contribute to peer reviews, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives across the team.
