Lawson Elliott Recruitment is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join a boutique public practice with a fully remote setup. The role is part-time (approximately 30 hours per week) and focused on delivering financial statements, tax returns and BAS for SME clients.

You'll work independently in a flexible, remote environment, with regular daily catch-ups and mentoring from a Principal. Xero proficiency and 2–4 years public practice experience are required.

Competenze

• 2–4 years Australian public practice experience.
• CA/CPA qualified or currently completing.
• Proficient in Xero software.

Mansioni

Fully Remote Accountant (Part-Time) | Intermediate & Senior | Job ID 1933

Our client is a boutique public practice accounting firm that works closely with small and medium-sized businesses across South East Queensland, providing taxation, accounting and business advisory services. Rather than focusing on high-volume compliance, the firm partners with clients to help them grow, giving you exposure to meaningful work and long-term client relationships.

They're now looking for a Intermediate Accountant to join their growing remote team. You'll prepare financial statements, tax returns and BAS, while supporting a range of tax and business advisory engagements for quality business clients. Although the firm has a Gold Coast office, the entire team works remotely, with regular daily catch-ups to stay connected and supported.

To succeed in this role, you'll have 2–4 years' Australian public practice experience, be CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion , and be confident using Xero . You'll enjoy working independently, be comfortable with technology, and thrive in a collaborative remote environment. Previous remote working experience and Xero certification will be highly regarded.
