Capella Sydney is seeking a Canteen Chef De Partie to bring creativity to the kitchen and craft distinctive menus for colleagues. You will work under the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef, contributing to daily operations at your station and maintaining high standards.

You should have tertiary culinary education, strong English skills, and experience in luxury hotels or renowned venues. The role offers hygiene-focused operation and opportunities in a historic, elegant setting.

Qualifications

• Tertiary education in Culinary/Hospitality Management.
• Experience in luxury hotels/resorts or renowned venues.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.

Responsibilities

• Assist Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef in daily operations of assigned station.
• Produce a consistent, high quality product and provide courteous, professional service.
• Demonstrate and supervise duties in the assigned station to the standard.
• Be flexible with rotation within the Food & Beverage Department.
• Maintain kitchen standards and follow kitchen manual rules.
• Ensure colleagues adhere to health, hygiene and safety guidelines.
