Job summary

Australian Electoral Commission is seeking four .Net Developers to deliver and support ICT projects from the National Office in Canberra. The roles require Active NV1 security clearance and hybrid work options.

Developers will uplift existing C# code, work with an ICD project team, and deliver enhancements while following AEC standards and SDL. Candidates should have APS6-equivalent experience and strong cloud, DevOps, and testing skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with Agile software development and documentation.
• Backend development experience with web API and SQL technologies.
• Proven SDLC experience and automated build/deployment in .NET.
• Experience with cloud-based applications and Azure DevOps.
• Ability to deliver well-designed, tested code and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance C#-based, multi-tier enterprise software per AEC standards.
• Create automated build/deploy scripts and work within Azure DevOps.
• Follow Agile SDLC and participate in continuous improvement.
• Liaise with staff to resolve issues and support policy and project outcomes.
