Job summary

Charter Diligence is seeking 5x experienced .NET Software Engineers to support a major Australian Federal Government digital modernisation program in Canberra. You will work in an established Agile team, delivering secure, scalable software using C#, .NET and Microsoft technologies; hands-on coding and problem solving are essential.

The role focuses on modernising legacy systems, building RESTful APIs, and integrating backend services.

Qualifications

Strong experience developing applications using C# and .NET.
Hands-on with Web APIs, SQL and enterprise app development.
Familiar with Visual Studio and Azure DevOps including CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Develop, enhance and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .NET Framework and modern .NET.
Build and integrate RESTful APIs, backend services and SQL database solutions.
Modernise existing applications to improve performance, reliability and security.
Develop and maintain automated build and deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, code reviews and testing.
Troubleshoot defects and provide production support for systems.
Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver quality software.
Prepare technical documentation and adhere to secure coding standards.
