Job summary

Pedal Power ACT is seeking a part-time Community Engagement Officer in Canberra to connect with members, support volunteers, and grow our cycling community. You’ll work with staff to ensure members feel supported, engaged, and informed while expanding our volunteer base and delivering community events.

The role emphasizes relationship building, data management, and collaboration with the Executive Director and teams across programs.

Qualifications

• Experience engaging with community members and volunteers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Comfort with public presence and events planning

Responsibilities

• Implement membership and volunteer growth strategies
• Coordinate events and campaigns with staff and partners
• Oversee day-to-day member services and data accuracy
• Build and sustain a network of volunteers across programs
• Prepare monthly reports and manage office tasks
• Collaborate with leadership to align with strategic priorities
