Job summary

OneSchool Global Maitland Campus in Maitland NSW is seeking a casual Campus Student Support Assistant commencing ASAP. You will provide dedicated one-to-one support for a student with complex learning, communication barriers and behavioural needs, including Autism.

You will work with the Learning Support Teacher to implement structured strategies, assist with classroom activities and routines, and support communication tools and self-regulation to promote participation and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Education Support (or equivalent).
• Experience supporting students with complex needs including Autism.
• Ability to provide one-to-one support with dignity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated one-to-one support for a student with complex needs.
• Collaborate with Learning Support Teacher to implement structured strategies.
• Assist the student to engage in classroom activities and routines.
