Job summary

Wilson Security is seeking Campus Security Officers for roles in the VIC region, including Bendigo and Shepparton campuses. The positions are casual and part-time, with paid training and opportunities to work across a range of locations handling incidents and access control.

You will provide visitor support, monitor CCTV, patrol premises, and respond to emergencies while maintaining high standards of safety and service.

Qualifications

• Valid VIC control room license required.
• Valid WWCC and First Aid/CPR certification.
• Ability to operate CCTV, access control and security software.
• Proven report writing and incident documentation skills.
• Willing to rotate across Nights/Days/Weekends.

Responsibilities

• Providing customer service to visitors, contractors and clients.
• Gatehouse duties and visitor management.
• Proactively monitor CCTV and Access Control systems.
• Conduct building patrols to identify security risks.
• Identify hazards and report faults for rectification.
• Support tenants and facilities teams.
• Manage contractors and deliveries through dock operations.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with security incidents.
• Contractor management duties and ad-hoc tasks.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Location: Shepparton
• Work for a well-known University
• Must have a valid WWCC
• Control room experience (preferred)
• Must have control room on VIC security license
• 5 days of training paid
• Casual roles
• Level 3

Wilson Security is expanding in the VIC securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the region.

This growth has created new roles within our team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients.

These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in response roles, handling events such as protests and emergency management, with training across multiple locations and a variety of positions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Providing strong Customer Service solutions to visitors, contractors & client
• Gatehouse duties
• Proactively monitoring CCTV and Access Control Systems
• Conducting building patrols to actively report and mitigate security & safety risk
• Identifying and reporting hazards and building faults for rectification
• Providing support to tenants and Facilities
• Managing contractors and deliveries through dock management
• Responding to emergency situations
• Contractor management duties
• Ad-hoc duties

• Availability to and physical fitness to walk and stand for long periods
• Control room on license
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
