The role involves supervising daily activities, training staff, ensuring quality work, maintaining inventory, coordinating with suppliers, and monitoring workshop metrics to drive efficiency and cost-saving improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mechanical repair and maintenance of campervans or similar vehicles.
• Knowledge of stock and spare parts management systems.
• Budget management experience with a results-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of a team of mechanics, including scheduling, task allocation, and performance reviews.
• Provide hands-on guidance and training to ensure team members develop technical skills and adhere to company standards.
• Monitor stock levels of tools, spare parts, and consumables, ensuring availability to meet operational needs and coordinate with suppliers for procurement.
• Track workshop performance metrics such as repair turnaround times and budget adherence; propose process improvements to reduce costs.
• Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards and regulations through regular inspections and audits.
