Job summary

Indie Campers in Sydney is seeking a dedicated depot operations assistant with a passion for customer service. You will greet guests, manage reservations, oversee campervan preparation and maintenance, and lead a small team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you’ll coordinate fleet logistics, handle local supplier relationships, and train teammates to uphold high standards. Weekend and holiday availability is required to keep our Sydney depot running.

Qualifications

• You are a travel enthusiast with direct customer contact experience in Tourism, Hospitality, Retail or Rent-a-car is desirable.
• Strong communication skills and comfort speaking with customers.
• Eligible to work in Australia, hold a valid driver's license and can drive a campervan.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming reservations, welcome guests, and manage check-ins/outs.
• Oversee fleet maintenance and logistics to ensure campervans are in top condition.
• Train, supervise, and coach team members.
• Manage bookings, stock, local suppliers, and cleaning services.
• Handle complaints and emergencies to keep operations running smoothly.
• Prepare and clean campervans.
• Assist in reselling campervans and showing them to buyers.
