Job summary

Indie Campers is seeking a hands-on Campervan Maintenance Technician for our Perth servicing team. You will ensure campervans are well-maintained and ready for rental, while supporting depot operations and coordinating with external partners.

We value hands-on repair ability, tool proficiency, and flexibility to travel and work weekends. A valid Australian driving licence (B) is required and you will join a mission-driven, fast-growing company with opportunities for development across regions.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on repair, fitting or service work for campervans, caravans, boats, appliances or similar.
• Strong in at least one of interior fitting, appliance/systems repair, or exterior repairs.
• Confident with hand and power tools; able to follow repair lists.
• Eligible to work in Australia and hold a valid driving licence (Category B).
• Available on weekends and public holidays and willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct systematic inspections of vehicles and diagnose issues across interior, appliance and exterior systems.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on campervans and motorhomes, including minor exterior parts replacement and repairs.
• Diagnose faults before replacing parts and decide when a vehicle is ready to rent.
• Own your repair list from start to finish and adjust as urgent jobs come in.
• Keep vehicle records, repair notes and parts consumption up to date in the fleet system.
• Keep tools, equipment and the work bay clean and organised.
• Maintain spare-parts inventory and handle stock counts and ordering.
• Coordinate shipments and register consumption and new orders.
• Develop relationships with external partners and coordinate interventions with regional teams.
• Assist with daily depot operations: prep vehicles, check-ins/outs, and maintain depot equipment and consumables.
