Job summary

Indie Campers, the go-to campervan marketplace, is expanding its APAC team in Perth. We seek a skilled Campervan Mechanic to maintain our fleet to the highest standards and ensure vehicles are ready for customer journeys.

You will inspect, repair, and service mechanical, electrical, and appliance systems, coordinate with partners, and support daily depot operations including check-ins and stock management. The role requires hands-on problem solving, weekends/holidays availability, and a valid

Qualifications

• Education or certified training in mechanics, mechatronics technical or a similar program in the automotive industry
• At least 1+ years of experience with hands-on mechanical and electrical repairs - experience in campervans is a plus
• You must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Technical degree preferred
• Available to work weekends and holidays
• Valid Driver’s License
• English and good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct systematic vehicle inspections and diagnose mechanical/electrical problems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on campervans.
• Light bodywork repairs, spare parts replacement and appliance repairs.
• Coordinate with external partners and regional teams.
• Move campervans between depots and maintain inventory systems.
• Prepare vehicles for customers and assist with check-ins/outs.
