Indie Campers Sydney is seeking a skilled Campervan Mechanic to maintain our fleet to the highest standards. You will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with depot operations to ensure customer readiness.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year hands-on repair experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license. Weekend and holiday availability is required; English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Education or certified training in mechanics or automotive tech.
• 1+ years hands-on mechanical and electrical repair experience; campervans a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
• Weekend and holiday availability; valid driver's license; English communication.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles for mechanical, electrical, heating and water system issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on campervans and motorhomes.
• Duties include light bodywork, parts replacement, and appliance troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with external suppliers and regional teams.
• Prepare vehicles for customers and assist with check-ins/check-outs.
• Maintain depot equipment and spare parts inventory.
