Job summary

Access4 Pty Ltd in Melbourne seeks a seasoned marketing leader to design and own the campaign engine. You’ll shape quarterly calendars, run monthly campaigns and ensure partner adoption while owning the pipeline and baselines for CPL and conversion.

You’ll drive lifecycle journeys and manage the marketing automation platform with a focus on data quality, segmentation and reporting. You’ll collaborate across product, channel and sales, plus our UK team and Manila creatives, in a hybrid role.

Qualifications

  • Campaign or demand generation experience in B2B tech, SaaS or technology.
  • Hands-on marketing automation and CRM skills; you’ve built journeys and reports yourself.
  • Carried a pipeline or lead number before, including quarters that didn’t go your way.
  • Campaign experience through a partner, channel or reseller model.
  • Able to brief an agency well and tell when the work isn’t there yet.
  • Commercial sense: connect campaigns to pipeline, not just opens or clicks.
  • You use AI tools daily for speed and personalization at scale.
  • Backbone to protect a calendar when senior requests collide.

Responsibilities

  • Own the campaign calendar: quarterly themes and one campaign a month, from brief to launch.
  • Build each kit twice, then drive partner adoption.
  • Own marketing-sourced pipeline and set baselines for cost-per-lead and lead-to-opportunity.
  • Design lifecycle and nurture journeys across acquisition, channel and customer audiences.
  • Own the marketing side of our automation platform: data quality, segmentation, structure and reporting.
  • Keep the monthly partner rhythm: kit drops, Open Line, Masterclass and partner newsletter.
  • Run paid and owned channels, and hold agencies to a high standard.
  • Build a testing habit and act on test results.
  • Report campaigns in a way executives can read without a decoder ring.

Job description

Most campaign roles hand you a calendar somebody else built and a platform somebody else broke. This one hands you the calendar, the platform, the budget and the number.

Here’s what makes it interesting. Every campaign we run gets built twice: once as a kit our partners run themselves, and once as a customer‑ready version they send under their own brand. Get that right and 600 partners quietly become 600 marketing teams. Nobody in the industry has fully cracked this, which is exactly why it’s worth doing.

This is openly a build year. Our new brand and website land this quarter, and we’re choosing our marketing platform right now. Reporting to the CMO, you’ll design the campaign engine instead of just keeping it running.

What you’ll be doing
  • Own the campaign calendar: quarterly themes and one campaign a month, from brief through launch, optimisation and an honest review.
  • Build every kit twice, then chase partner adoption, because a kit nobody runs is just a folder.
  • Own marketing‑sourced pipeline as your number, and set our first cost‑per‑lead and lead‑to‑opportunity baselines.
  • Design lifecycle and nurture journeys across acquisition, channel and customer audiences, including trigger and intent‑based programmes.
  • Own the marketing side of our automation platform: data quality, segmentation, structure and reporting. You’ll help choose it, then live with it.
  • Keep the monthly partner rhythm running: kit drops, Open Line, Masterclass and the partner newsletter, on time, every month.
  • Run our paid and owned channels, and hold our agencies to a high standard.
  • Build a testing habit, and actually act on what the tests show.
  • Report on campaigns in a way an executive can read without a decoder ring.
What you’ll bring
  • Campaign or demand generation experience in B2B tech, ideally SaaS or technology.
  • Hands‑on marketing automation and customer relationship management (CRM) skills. You’ve built the journeys and reports yourself, not briefed someone else to.
  • You’ve carried a pipeline or lead number before, including the quarters that didn’t go your way.
  • Campaign experience through a partner, channel or reseller model, or a clear grasp of what that demands.
  • The confidence to brief an agency well and tell them when the work isn’t there yet
  • You can brief an agency well and tell them when the work isn’t there yet.
  • Commercial sense: you connect campaigns to pipeline, not to opens and clicks.
  • You use AI tools every day, for speed and for personalisation at scale.
  • The backbone to protect a calendar when someone senior wants to squeeze something in.
  • A degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or similar
About Access4

We started in 2016 to bring phone, video and collaboration services to IT providers. Today our platform, SASBOSS, is the benchmark in the channel. It lets service providers sell, provision and bill best‑of‑breed vendors from one place. Our values are Innovate, Empower and Partner, and we’re known for putting partners first, a high‑performing culture and honest conversations.

Why you’ll like it here
  • A calendar, a platform and a number that are yours, in a team that backs big ambition and owns its results.
  • A build year for Access4 marketing: new brand, new website, new platform and fresh leadership. Get in early.
  • Work across product, channel, sales, our UK team and our creative team in Manila (a sense of humour helps).
  • Hybrid working from our Cremorne office, right in the middle of Melbourne’s creative and marketing scene.
  • 5 days a year of Life Leave, for the things that matter outside work.
  • Your birthday off, every year.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
  • Regular team events, EOFY and Christmas parties plus more.
