Job summary

Seventh-day Adventist Church (South Queensland Conference) Limited in Somerset Dam, QLD, is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator to lead the Outdoor Programs team. About Camp Somerset

Camp Somerset is an Outdoor Education and Recreation Facility owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in South Queensland. Situated on 1,000 acres of bushland and rainforest on Somerset Dam, it offers a range of activities and accommodation options year-round. Guests can choose from comfortable cabins and lodges with resort-style pools, or enjoy expeditions and camping at scenic waterfront or bush campsites.

About the role

This full-time Program Coordinator position offers variety and challenges as a leader in the Outdoor Programs team at the facility, directly assisting the Senior Program Coordinator in all areas of running the Program

Department. The successful applicant/s while not required to be a practicing member of the Seventh day Adventist Church must share a commitment to the Church’s mission and be prepared to support the ideals and beliefs of the church and be able to demonstrate good communication and relational skills to be able to co-operatively work with other staff and management of the camp to achieve positive outcomes for ministry on the site. They should possess or be able to obtain a Positive Notice Blue Card for Child Related Employment. Remuneration will be based on the relevant Industrial Award, dependent on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
