Seven Media Group in Bundaberg, Australia, invites an experienced ENG Camera Operator to join our dynamic News Team. You’ll produce high-quality camera work and collaborate closely with Reporters and Producers to tell compelling stories on air and online.

This role requires on‑air experience, the ability to travel at short notice, a valid manual driving license, and flexibility to work irregular hours, including on‑call periods.

About The Role

You’re an experienced ENG Camera Operator joining the dynamic and talented News Team in Bundaberg. We are looking for someone who possesses a high level of creativity and a camera/ editing style consistent with metropolitan television.

What You’ll Do

You will be an experienced Camera Operator with a drive and passion for high production quality standards and the ability to think clearly, communicate, and act quickly under pressure requiring minimal supervision. You will be an exceptional communicator with strong interpersonal skill and the ability to form credible, productive relationships with Reporters and Producers.

More Specifically, You'll Bring

• Experience in News and on-air operations.
• A willingness to travel at short notice to cover breaking news.
• An unrestricted manual driver’s licence.
• Flexibility ability to work irregular hours. This position may require some on call/ out of hours work.

What You’ll Need

• Previous experience managing a team
• Previous experience in sales/marketing management, advertising, and/or media buying
• Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Mac-based programs
• Knowledge of OZTAM and other industry-specific software
• Formal qualifications in Business, Management, or Marketing
