Seven Media Group in Bundaberg is seeking a confident and creative Announcer for Triple M Breakfast to craft local content, keep the music rolling, and engage audiences on air, online and in the community.

You will host shifts from Bundaberg studios, work with the Content Director to meet station goals, and extend the brand across on‑air, social and digital channels, with occasional shifts when staff are away.

Qualifications

About the role

We’re on the hunt for a confident and creative Announcerto join our Triple M Breakfast show with El in Bundaberg. Based in our office in Bundaberg, you’ll craft compelling local content, keep the music rolling, and connect with our audience on air, online, and in the community.

As our Triple M Breakfast Announcer, you’ll host shifts from our Bundaberg studios and will be responsible for delivering compelling local and well targeted engaging content to our listeners. In this role, you will work closely with the Content Director to ensure the station's strategic objectives are achieved through excellent local communication, effective tactical planning/execution and on air work that makes you stand out. You should embrace the Triple M brand and lifestyle though our many content outlets, including; on‑air, social and digital. You may be required to fill in shifts when staff are on leave.

What you’ll need

• Be passionate about our Triple M audience and it’s music!
• Be competent with commercial radio music scheduling experience.
• Have knowledge of Zetta.
• Have an understanding of CRA's Codes of Practice and Broadcasting Standards.
• Proficiency in driving the panel and being pro‑active in all facets of your role to take your own career to the next level.
• Enjoy popular culture, social media, current affairs and local events; with a passion for taking content to the next level, both on air and on digital!
• A reliable, hardworking and results driven individual who's able to multitask and perform effectively under pressure
• A distinctive on air presence that naturally appeals to our listeners and a burning desire to be heard!
