Job summary

In Good Hands, Mount Hawthorn, WA, is seeking a kitchen-focused candidate to prep, cook and serve our brunch menu. You’ll join a small team, learn under the head chef, and gradually run the menu with training.

We value ideas, reliability, and early starts (around 5am). This full-time role offers on-site parking, a collaborative kitchen, and a chance to contribute fresh ideas daily.

Qualifications

• Has some kitchen experience (café experience is a bonus).
• Good knife skills and confidence with the basics.
• Takes pride in consistent, well-presented food.
• Is curious, creative and keen to keep learning.
• Communicates well and keeps things moving during a busy service.
• Is reliable, punctual and comfortable with early starts.
• Must have the right to work in Australia.
• Full-time hours, early morning shifts starting around 5am

You'll work alongside our head chef on prep, cooking and serving our brunch menu, keeping the kitchen organised and ready for a busy service. Over time you'll be trusted to run the menu independently, with full training first. We want your ideas, too. Whether it's a cabinet special, a seasonal ingredient or a better way of doing something, we welcome people who care about the food and want to contribute.
