Job summary

Bonnie and Duke in Port Melbourne, VIC is seeking a Casual Cafe Assistant to join our corporate cafe and support four departments: cafe, restaurant, catering, and a small grocer. You will rotate between roles as needed and help with catering prep and on-site duties.

Applicants should have coffee skills, strong attention to detail, and customer-service experience. The shift is Monday–Friday 7:30am–3pm, with weekends free (except for one Sunday event per month). Part-time considered.

• 1 year of relevant work experience required for this role.
• Experience in customer service and food handling.
• Coffee skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with catering prep and organisation – some off-site work may be required, transport provided.

Bonnie and Duke is hiring a Casual Cafe Assistant in Port Melbourne, VIC.

Requirements for this role:

1 year of relevant work experience required for this role

Expected salary: $33 - $34 per hour

We are a corporate cafe in Port Melbourne looking for a detail-oriented person who enjoys working in a variety of roles to join our team.

Our business has 4 departments - a cafe, restaurant, catering service and a small grocer. The role would involve moving between departments as needed.

Part-time also open for discussion.

The Role:

Assist with catering prep and organisation - some off site work may be required, transport provided

Work with our friendly team making sandwiches, operating the press & grill

You:

We require a new team member who has attention to detail

Has experience in customer service & food handling

Coffee skills required

Friendly and customer oriented.

We are open Monday to Friday 7.30am - 3pm so your nights and weekends are free. (Except a Sunday event once a month)

We close on all public holidays and take a break over Christmas and New Year, usually 2-3 weeks.

Most importantly, you’d be working with a friendly supportive team.
