Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking energetic Café All-Rounders to join our warm, resident-centered team. As a Café and Functions Assistant you’ll deliver top-notch service, craft espresso drinks, and help create a homely atmosphere for our residents.

You’ll handle food and beverage preparation, operate the POS, keep the café tidy, and support events across our villages. The role requires customer focus, barista skills, and a Working with Children Check; weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in food service or front of house.
• Barista skills.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol.
• Working with Children Check.
• Food Handling Certificate.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Availability across Monday to Sunday, during family friendly hours 7:30am–3:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Deliver top-notch customer service with warmth and a smile.
• Prepare food and beverages, including espresso coffee.
• Operate the POS system and manage payments.
• Keep the cafe tidy, welcoming, and ready for action—from setup to clean-up.
