Job summary

Walkabout Creek Café in Brisbane's Enoggera Reservoir area is seeking Café All-Rounders to join our front-of-house team. You'll help create a welcoming experience for customers, handle orders, and keep the dining area well-presented.

The role involves taking orders, operating the POS, preparing and serving coffee, and assisting with opening and closing procedures while supporting the wider team during busy service.

Qualifications

• Previous café or hospitality experience.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Barista experience is highly regarded but not essential.
• Available for weekend shifts.

Walkabout Creek Café is looking for friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Café All-Rounders to join our growing front-of-house team.

Located at Enoggera Reservoir in The Gap, Walkabout Creek Café offers a unique working environment surrounded by nature. We're looking for team members who enjoy working with people, thrive in a busy café environment and take pride in delivering great customer service.

About the Role

As a Café All-Rounder, you'll be involved in the day-to-day operations of the café, helping create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing friendly and efficient customer service.

Taking orders and operating the POS system.

Preparing and serving coffee, food and beverages.

Running food, clearing tables and maintaining the dining area.

Keeping the café clean, organised and well-presented.

Assisting with opening and closing procedures.

Supporting the wider team during busy service periods.

About You

We're looking for people who:

Have previous café or hospitality experience.

Can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Are reliable, punctual and have a positive attitude.

Work well both independently and as part of a team.

Have barista experience (highly regarded but not essential).

Are available for weekend shifts.

• Competitive casual pay rates of $33-50 per hour, based on experience, skills and day of rosterFlexible casual hours.
• Shift Manager allowance of an additional $5 per hour when rostered in a supervisory role.
