Job summary

Toby's Estate in Sydney's Chippendale cafe is seeking a casual Cafe All-Rounder to join our team. If you love coffee and delivering superb customer service, this role is for you.

The job is casual, with around 3 days (15 hours) per week, and you will work closely with FOH, Kitchen and Barista colleagues. You will greet customers, take orders, handle the till, and support Front of House to ensure every cup and dish meets our high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality and customer service.
• Able to work under pressure in a team.
• Strong communication with staff and customers.
• Genuine love for coffee.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with FOH, Kitchen and Barista teams to maintain high service and food quality.

About you:

We are on the look-out for a keen and enthusiastic Cafe All-Rounder standout to join our team at our Chippendale Cafe. If you're passionate about delivering top-notch customer service and creating unforgettable dining experiences, then this is the role for you!

This role involves delivering a high level of service and quality, greeting customers, operating the till system, and Front of House support all whilst working alongside a great team to provide an excellent customer experience.

Day to day in this role you will:

• Work alongside our FOH, Kitchen and Barista team to ensure that every cup of coffee and food that leaves our hands is at the same high quality standard.
• Taking orders and operating the till system
• Provide an excellent coffee experience to our Toby’s customers.

This is a casual role, estimated to be working 3 days,15 hours a week.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine love for coffee and the hospitality industry and is eager to share their knowledge and experience.
• Is enthusiastic, friendly, and able to work under pressure in a team environment
• Communicates effectively with fellow staff and customers and maintain focus and work at pace.
• The ability to build strong relationships with both coworkers and our customers.
