Job summary

Billy’s Bar Espresso is a family-run cafe in Neutral Bay seeking a friendly, reliable all-rounder to join our small two-person team. Your main focus is serving customers and running the till, with confidence in coffee making and light sandwich prep.

Shifts typically start at 5:30 am and finish around 2 pm, so reliable early starts are essential. You’ll greet customers, take orders, prepare drinks and help with food prep while keeping the cafe clean and organised.

We’re a small, two-person team, so we’re looking for someone who’s happy to get involved in every part of the day. Your main focus will be serving customers and running the till, but you must also be confident making coffee and helping with simple sandwich preparation.

Shifts generally start at 5:30 am and finish around 2 pm, so being reliable and comfortable with early starts is essential.

What you’ll be doing

• Greeting customers, taking orders and operating the till
• Making consistently good coffee and other drinks
• Preparing sandwiches and handling simple food preparation
• Keeping the café clean and organised, including daily setup and pack-down
• Working closely with your teammate to keep service running smoothly

What we’re looking for

The role
