The position we have available is based in our Breakthru unit in Tuggerah, in a café called Breaking Grounds which is open Monday-Friday from approximately 6.30am-4.30pm.
We are looking for people who are interested in working approximately 15-30 hours per week on a casual basis who have previous hospitality and barista experience.
A popular little hub of activity, this wonderful place not only provides excellent coffee, scrumptious snacks and delicious lunches, it also plays a special role in the community - supporting people with disability to learn aspects of café operations. This means demonstrating what a great team member looks like and providing great experiences for someone learning the ropes of cafe work life. (People who are learning café operations with us, are supported by specialist team members so there is no direct responsibility for training outside of the normal support provided by any member of the team).
As a member of our team in this space, your role will include all the typical tasks and responsibilities of working in a busy community café such as serving customers with a smile, running food and assisting with food preparation.
