Job description

SYNC's pioneering prefabrication, digital design, and manufacturing processes are setting a new benchmark in the prefabricated construction industry. Our dedicated engineers and designers manufacture high-quality, fully customised bathroom pods using state-of-the-art prefabrication techniques. With local manufacturing facilities in Melbourne's Laverton North, we work closely with architects, builders, and clients to create innovative and beautiful living environments.

We are looking for an experienced CAD Designer to join our design team on a 12-month fixed term contract, with potential to extend. In this role, you will play an integral role in bringing our prefabricated bathroom pods from design through to manufacture.

Working closely with our Design, Project and Production teams, you will develop accurate 2D and 3D models, technical drawings and manufacturing documentation using Autodesk Inventor and Vault. You will ensure designs are practical, accurate and ready for manufacture while identifying design issues and continuously looking for opportunities to improve how our products are designed and produced. This role would suit someone with a strong manufacturing background who enjoys seeing their designs come to life on the production floor.
