Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking a skilled Labourer to join their casual pool. Earn over $1,400 per week with a base rate of $35.11 per hour, plus super and a daily travel allowance.

Immediate start and ongoing casual assignments offer regular hours with potential for permanent positions. Ideal candidates have at least 12 months’ experience, a Construction White Card, a current driver licence, and the ability to handle physically demanding work.

What You'll Be Doing

• Warehouse fit-outs and pallet racking installations
• Shopfitting and carpentry projects
• Demolition and strip-out work
• General labouring across manufacturing and industrial sites
• Container unloading
• Site clean-ups and final cleans
• General manual handling duties

Typical tasks include:

• Site preparation and clean-up
• Wheelbarrowing materials
• Digging and trenching
• Lifting and carrying materials
• Packing and stacking
• Assembling products
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required

What We're Looking For

To join our team you must have:

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant
• Construction White Card

PPE Requirements

You must supply your own PPE, including:

• Steel-capped boots
