Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking General Labourers and Casual Trade Assistants for ongoing casual assignments across construction, landscaping, and industrial sites. Earn competitive hourly pay with weekly wages and a travel allowance, plus superannuation and a pathway to permanent roles.

You will perform site duties, assist trades, and help with general labouring tasks, with reliable transport and a strong work ethic required. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card.
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport (highly preferred).
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Reliability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Work across a variety of industries including landscaping, construction, warehouse fit-outs, shopfitting and more.
• Assist qualified tradespeople and perform general labouring duties.
• Site preparation, wheelbarrowing, digging and trenching, lifting and carrying materials.
• Packing and stacking, assembling products, and general labouring tasks as required.

• General labouring across manufacturing and industrial sites
• Container unloading

• General manual handling duties

• Lifting and carrying materials
• Packing and stacking
• Assembling products
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required

What We're Looking For
