The role requires underground bolting experience, adherence to safety standards and the ability to operate in a team-focused setting on a long-term project with competitive rosters.

Responsibilities

• Operate cable bolting equipment safely and efficiently.

• Conduct pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks.
• Mix and install grouts and resins as required.
• Ensure compliance with mine plans, procedures and safety standards.
• Identify and report hazards, incidents and equipment defects.
• Work closely with engineers, supervisors and underground crews.
• Maintain high housekeeping and operational standards underground.

Redpath Australia is seeking experienced Underground Cable Bolt Operators to join our operations at Evolution Mining's Lake Cowal Underground Gold Mine in New South Wales. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a long-term project with a respected mining contractor while contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of underground mine development activities.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As a Cable Bolt Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation of cable bolts and ground support systems to support underground development and production activities. You will play a critical role in maintaining ground stability and ensuring a safe working environment for underground mining crews.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate cable bolting equipment safely and efficiently
• Install cable bolts in accordance with geotechnical and engineering designs
