Job summary

Sydney Trains is seeking a Cable Network Maintainer to join the Projects team based in Granville. You will be part of a team delivering key implementations across Optical Fibre and Copper Cable Networks, ensuring high availability and performance of critical communications infrastructure.

The role requires scheduled preventative maintenance, quick fault response, extensive travel across the NSW network, and participation in a 24/7 on-call roster.

Qualifications

• Sound understanding of communications network infrastructure.
• Experience with Optical Fibre and Copper Networks.
• Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams and apply in the field.

Responsibilities

• Undertake scheduled preventative maintenance of Optical Fibre and Copper networks.
• Respond to network faults and emergencies as they arise.
• Travel across the NSW network and work with the broader Sydney Trains communications network.
• Assist with maintenance and support to ensure high availability and performance.
