Ausgrid is seeking a skilled Cable Jointer to deliver safe, reliable underground network work across Sydney and regional NSW. You will inspect, install and maintain electrical assets, plan work sites, and liaise with stakeholders to resolve issues while upholding high standards of safety and quality.
You will hold a Cert III in ESI Power Systems or equivalent, with HRWL and relevant training, and possess an MR class licence.

As a Cable Jointer, your role is critical to delivering good work safely, ensuring the ongoing safety, reliability, sustainability and affordability of our underground network assets for our customers. Working to the highest standards of quality, cost and time, safety underpins everything you do as you inspect, install and maintain underground network infrastructure and electrical equipment.
From structures to cables, your expertise supports safe and efficient work near live electrical apparatus. You’ll also prepare work sites, liaise with key internal and external stakeholders, resolve customer issues, interpret technical documentation, and play a key role in emergency restoration work, ensuring the job is planned well and done right, every time.
