Job summary

Disruptive Recruitment is seeking a Cabinet Draftsperson for a locally owned cabinetmaking business in O’Connor, Perth. You will produce accurate drawings using Cabinet Vision and prepare projects for CNC nesting.

You will interpret architectural plans, manage drafting priorities across residential and commercial projects, and collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure details and materials are correct.

Qualifications

• Previous drafting experience in cabinetmaking or joinery.
• Proficiency with Cabinet Vision software.
• Ability to interpret architectural plans.
• Experience preparing drawings for CNC nesting.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cabinetry drawings using Cabinet Vision.
• Interpret architectural plans and project specs.
• Prepare drawings for CNC nesting and manufacture.
• Incorporate materials, hardware and construction details into drawings.
• Review drawings for accuracy and resolve discrepancies before production.
• Work closely with the manufacturing team to clarify project requirements.
• Manage drafting priorities across residential and commercial projects.
