Job summary

Kitchen Workz QLD PTY LTD is seeking a Draft Person- Cabinet Vision to turn approved designs and site measurements into production-ready drawings for cabinet making and joinery projects. You will work with the Project Manager and Design/Sales team to ensure accuracy and manufacturability.

This role requires proficiency in Cabinet Vision, strong joinery knowledge, and the ability to interpret plans and site data.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Cabinet Vision for drafting and production set-out.
• Strong understanding of cabinet making and joinery construction.
• Ability to interpret architectural plans and site measurements.
• Experience preparing material lists and ordering materials and hardware.
• Experience with Jobman is advantageous but not required.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving approach.
• Good communication, organisation and time-management skills.
• Cabinetmaking trade background highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings and production set-outs using Cabinet Vision.
• Review plans, site measurements, specifications and selections before releasing jobs to production.
• Set out cabinetry, hardware, materials and construction details.
• Prepare CNC-ready files and manufacturing information.
• Prepare material and hardware lists, place orders and coordinate delivery with suppliers and the Project Manager.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies with the Project Manager and Design/Sales team.
• Work closely with factory and installation teams to ensure jobs are documented and ready to manufacture.
• Manage drawing revisions and maintain accuracy across multiple projects.

• Review plans, site measurements, specifications and selections before releasing jobs to production
• Set out cabinetry, hardware, materials and construction details
• Prepare CNC-ready files and manufacturing information
• Prepare material and hardware lists, place orders and coordinate delivery requirements with suppliers and the Project Manager
• Identify and resolve discrepancies with the Project Manager and Design/Sales team
