Job summary

The Murray Princess is seeking a Cabin Waiter to support hospitality operations on board as part of a dynamic crew. You will clean cabins, make beds, change linen and assist with bar work while maintaining safety and professionalism during cruising.

Ideal candidates have hospitality experience, RSA, and a strong eye for detail. This role offers meals and accommodation on board, with transport provided from Adelaide if needed.

Job description

The PS Murray Princess is the largest inland paddle wheeler in the Southern Hemisphere. Accommodating a maximum of 120 guests and operating 3, 4 and 7-night cruises on the Murray River from Mannum, 87 kilometres from Adelaide, this stunning vessel attracts guests from all over Australia and the world.

About the role

The Cabin Waiter plays an integral role in the Hospitality Operations on the Murray Princess. The Cabin Waiter position involves all aspects of cabin cleaning (housekeeping), making beds daily, changing linen, cleaning bathrooms, and bar work.

You will be working closely with all crew and as part of a dynamic team. You will be required to maintain professionalism, demonstrate excellence in safety, and always be reliable.

This role requires energy, commitment, initiative, teamwork, multi-skilling, and time management. The successful applicant must be prepared to learn and progress into a Team Leader role in the near future; therefore, if you have experience in managing a small team, we would like to hear from you.
